Como estan? How is everyone?
July is looking to be a busy month for me. I have several author interviews, chats, and a guest blog lined up. I will be sending out reminders closer to the dates so I hope everyone has a chance to check them out.
I have also finished a story called A Little Sexting for Shara's Naughty Bites. So be on the lookout for the next installment
Still excited about finishing my first long book to date! I will be posting an excerpt and more about it soon but this is a story about James Burckhardt, special ops, and Carolina de Anda. I hope you guys will enjoy!
For those who liked Weekend Chase, Raúl San Angel's story, Weekend Auction, is close to being done and going to be submitted to RRP for their review.
Oh and Weekend Chase is holding steady at #10 on the Erotic Romance Bestsellers List over at RRP!
Thanks for everyone who has bought a copy!!!

A MOMENT WITH DREA PLEASE READ
First all good moringing all, its been a wonderful weekend for Drea! Sunday is dawing to be a really peaceful and reflective day for me...I wanted to post this on all the boards that I generally post broad messages too. I feel that I have made some very close friends and you guys have been on a very unique journey with me. I hope you will continue and I hope that some of you will be willing to really help me with some of the next stages of my journey. (Hopefully I will explain myself more clearly lol)
So as most of you know I have spoken recently about moments of self-realization and soul searching. The whole what is my purpose kind of thing. And some thoughts have been floating through my mind for the last several months...year really; Thoughts along the lines of you know "What are you really contributing to the world? What can you do to be pro active? How can you have a bigger and more positive social prescence in the world. How can you make a difference."
I've come up with several answers for myself and rarely have I ever inacted even one motion. Periodically I bake for a local homeless shelter but thats sporadic. I bump my gums with people on line all the time. But nothing I really felt was pushing me into that life changing moment; the moment where i could say "wow i make a difference." I still feel i haven't reached or even scratched my potential.
Anyway I posted earlier a link to a youtube video, where a very lovely Lady (DIVA) was really reading the riot act, She wanted to make sure she addressed and issue with her LBGT and Black community and at first the words tickled the shit of me, so I posted it. But when I stopped and listened to what was honestly being said I was standing with my fist in the air (3am on the phone with Becca both of us just playing it over and over again). I reposted it again with a message asking everyone to view it. ( I hope you all did) I really felt what she was saying. So I looked for other videos by her and was moved by the video she just did friday. I am going to touch on it briefly and give you all the link here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LoXaaB9mjSM&feature=channel_page) Basicly after she posted her Sermon she had a movement within her, she didn't disclose the whole thing but i bet we see a more serious and charitable, socially aware educational page from her. I subscribed because I am entrigued. BUT any she linked to some really good videos, people who vlog with very strong messages. I hope you guys take a moment to see some of them. I am going to post a couple that really struck me here.
But now I say all that to say this. For a long time Jayha and I have talked about how we as a group often do what we know other groups have/will not. We do it all, we talk about it all. From LBGT rights to republicans vrs dems to sports to womens rights and sex positions. Some times when the subject is foreign or uncomfortable there is noticably less conversation. ie the politics debates between Randall and Shara. I think that we should have more of those kind of conversations. If your like me you know jack shyt about politics, you may have a point of view, but you aren't like a polysci mgr either. I learn from those discussions. We all should learn.
I think as a group of very socially aware and strong women/men we should be doing more of that.
I am hoping to start slowly integrating some more talks on things of that nature. If not on the joint pages (depends on the actual owners and participation) but for sure on mine and laura's page and blog.
I'd like by then end of this year for us as a group to find a way together to be more vocal, more inspiring to other people...maybe doing an online campaign to mentor people. We have a great charitable outlet in adopting the library where Mrs Scales works, but can we maybe do more. I am asking you guys to hit me up and give me some Ideas.
You know maybe we can do a Posse bake sale to benifit a food bank or a clothes drive where we pick a homeless or women's shelter that we can help.
Also I am going to make a few quick revalations about Drea and I will accept some ribbing but I want you guys for the most part to take me seriously. I am going to start with the big one, because I think its important for some people(lurkers) to maybe understand. And for some newbies too. You guys sometimes see the more serious side of me but most of you know me as the happy go lucky, new puppy( hi von hi ro lmao). A lot of people tend to think something is just wrong and i am on the edge of the roof top when I am more serious (good looking out von LMAO).
I am very opinionated. Sometimes to the point that I may come off as uneducated and Immature. If at any point in time I voice my opinion and it bothers you or insults you, I encourage you to email me and let me know. Know that I am not being intentionally ugly. If I was/am I will usually say so before I go off on what ever tangent and my spelling, grammar and syntax will be a whole heck of a lot better than normal. I give advice and opinions and I take advice and opinions. If i don't have something to say on a topic I will pretty much keep my mouth shut.
I am not a raging Homophobic (sounds a lot like Clinton saying he wasn't with Monica, I know) at least not in the traditional kill 'em all and flush the toilet since that lines most prejudice. I have a strong since of sexual awarness and I tend to voice my prefrences openly and loudly. I don't happen to like most women periode. Its just me...women and most of you can testify to this, have some of the most dramatic relationships on earth with themselves and with each other. We are very complicated creatures. There are many reasons for those complications; history, religion, working like dogs, you name it. Until I began socializing on these groups I can honestly say that I didn't socialize with women in general. So yeah I am growing, but back to the not drink hater aid: (and this is specifically for a lurker) my prefrences seem outrageous and bigger than life because, as the clown of the group I have shared the experience that I've had with needing to exert my prefrences. Some of them in really dramatic "you ain't going to believe this" type fashions. I also don't like swinging, yankies, cold tea thats not sweet, croc shoes, gold and platinum in peoples mouths, spiders, cooked spinach, spinach dip, shady people, child molesters, rapists, pokemon, anal sex, popcorn with out butter, plan tap water and licorice.
Basicly I am like every other person you will ever meet. I can just be over the top at times. I respect people and their difference and even though I may privately freak out or do the cartoon eyes or call my sisters and go "why do they need to tell me about it" I am not knocking/downing anyone and thier choices. DO YOU and Drea will do Drea and we'll probably get on like a house on fire. I will never speak of any one derogatorily and if I do, lord call me on it, pull me a side and say "hey, watch out sistah" I may get my ass on my shoulder, I am human, I know I have in the past and trust me I am working on it.
I am not going to revisit the spiritual thing cuz I am not trying to beat a dead horse unless you know I can procure some hair enhancements (shut up peta i don't like you neither).
NOW all that being said here are some links to the other vlogs I hope you guys take some time to listen to some of them and hear what other folks are doing/hearing/ thinking about the world around us.

We once did what mostly no state ever did, stand on our own, but it wasn't easy then, and none of us are stupid enought to think it would be a cake walk today. We dibsed America. We love America just as passionatly as we love the history of our state( i liken it to folks saying they weren't born in Texas, but got here as soon as they could, well Texas wasn't born in America, but damned if we ain't bumbrush our way into the joint pdq) more soldiers in the military are from Texas than any other state...not stationed in Texas born in Texas or resided in Texas before entering the service. Its another point of pride, We remember the Alamo cuz that shyt was the bomb and it lets other know that we will fight for our country the same way, we may not have a chance in hell of surviving but every man woman child cow goat and pig will be armed to the gills and we will go down in a blaze of glory and buckshot....
I hope that dems and even republicans who actually love their country and yes this state, believe that we have the ability to rectify our economy and that this is truely the nation that can change the world...i hope they all grow up and grow up soon.
I wonder how Perry thinks Texas will survive...there is no infastructure to support itself, can you imagin importing shyt from texas to arkansas...really now...omg are you really serious gov. big weave...How can you take something so ....you know what i need bail money...really... i do...
ok perry go head take texas...you'll have a bunch of empty house buildings and farm feilds...Texans may speak slow but we are by no means as stupid as Perry wants the world to think we are...oh sure there will be some of yahoos adn dingdongs in Gone with the wind style ghost towns( i reckon a few of them will be yankies)...and most of them will be starved and emaciated because they've never worked the land or raised and slautered a cow...and yeah i am taking my cows and corn and cotton with me...i have a bumper sticker on my truck that says...in case of rapture you can have this truck...well in case of succession you can bet you can have this raggedy piece...
Where will Drea be...Hey, they love me in Vegas.

Financial Aid Pledges to Reduce Student Debt
A number of colleges have developed financial aid policies that limit or eliminate student loans from financial aid packages, reducing costs for students and families. We have analyzed each of these programs and include information here for the programs that meet our guidelines.

HELLO ALL MY WONDERFUL FRIENDS!! SORRY ABOUT LAST WEEK, BUT I'M BACK THIS WEEK READY TO GIVE YOU WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THROUGH ANOTHER HUMPDAY! THIS WEEK I DECIDED TO CONNECT WITH OUR FRIENDS AT COSMO.COM. THEY HAVE GIVEN ME ALL THE INFORMATION I NEED TO GIVE YOU A WONDERFUL HUMPDAY PICK ME UP!
YOUR GUY SHOULD HAVE HIS BACK FACING SOMETHING STURDY. HE THEN PICKS YOU UP WITH YOUR THIGHS RESTING ON HIS ARMS AND HIS HANDS HAVE ACCESS TO GET A GOOD GRIP ON YOUR BACKSIDE(A GOOD SQUEEZE NEVER HURT ANYBODY). PLACE YOUR ARMS AROUND HIS NECK, AND STEADY YOURSELF BY PLACING YOUR FEET ON THE STURDY SURFACE BEHIND YOUR GUY.(THE HEIGHT OF THE SURFACE DEPENDS ON YOUR FLEXIBILITY AND WHETHER YOUR GUY NEEDS THAT SURFACE TO HELP HIM BRACE.) THE POSITION ALLOWS YOU TO BOUNCE UP AND DOWN ON HIS PENIS AND HE HELPS BECAUSE HIS ARMS ARE UNDER YOUR THIGHS. THIS ALLOWS FOR YOU TO SET THE PACE, BUT NOT HAVE COMPLETE RESPONSIBILITY IN KEEPING IT UP! THE POSITION ALSO ALLOWS FOR ALL THE RIGHT SPOTS TO HIT EACH OTHER WHICH CAUSES YOU TO HAVE A BETTER AND STRONGER ORGASM!(SUPER HAPPY BONUS!!)
HERE IS THE LINK TO OUR FRIENDS AT COSMO.COM: http://www.cosmopolitan.com/sex-love/positions/pleasure-pick-me-up

Meet Sable St.James...she's closing doors and cleaning out her closet"
Dréa Riley Presents
Closing Doors: A Series of New Beginnings
Sable’s Standards
By Dréa Riley
The End
I’ll bet you saw those words up there and wondered, “what the hell, I just opened this book. How is it the end already?”
I know, the end comes at the end and the middle comes before that. And before that we have the beginning. But sometimes the end isn’t always the end. Sometimes it’s the beginning. The very first step in the journey of a thousdand miles, or two blocks.
I mean weren’t you excited about the end. Seriously, you saw the book. Saw the cover and thought, “boy I wonder what happens to them in the end.” It’s why we read books and watch movies. The middle is fun and dandy, we get to know all about a character and what they do. Who their friends and family are? We watch them grow and change and cheer them on boo their antagonists. But, if we are unsatisfied with the ending, well now, that’s a whole new beast isn’t it. We don’t want the character to be left hanging. All issues need to be resolved by the last period of the last paragraph and make it a happily ever after please, and thank you.
That’s how we all like for the end to—well end. By now you’re probably confused and really questioning some things so I will just go ahead and tell you, there is a happy ending. Take it on faith. Or Take my word. Or skip to the last page. I wouldn’t lie to you. Who am I, you ask? Ahh, there it is, the question I’ve been waiting for. I am Sable Louise St. James. And I know there is a happy ending, because this is my story. This is how my ending became a happy beginning.
The History leason.
Sable Louise St. James was the middle daughter of Winston and Jeanavier St. James. Her sisters are JeanMarie and Diamond consecutively. Don’t let the names fool you. There is no blue blood running through the family tree though if you let her mama tell it, they were related to the Queen. No one rightly knew which Queen that was, no one had ever been brave enough to question Mama St. James to her face. Her word was law. For all her put upon airs, she could be right nasty if you crossed her.
Winston worked the majority of his life in a beef plant. Nightshift. He didn’t pay too much attention to either of the girls as they grew up. Never said much about the differences his wife made between them. Oh he pampered JeanMarie and Diamond more than Sable, but that’s because they were his. They favored mama with their light skin and good hair. Sable took after her daddy, her biological father that is.
He must have been a dark man. Sable always thought that because all her mamas family was real light complexioned. Mama took a great deal of pride in that. And Daddy--well, Winston's family was mostly Native American, so paper bag brown ran long and deep through them.
Sable’s sperm donor, well he had to be dark because she was dark. She had smooth almond colored skin that gets a little blotchy when the weather changes and what the beauticians call “ethinic hair”. Now to hear her sisters tell it, her hair alternated between being a cotton ball and a brill-o pad, but either way it was coarse and short and lacking any shine to it. Her nose was wide and flat and her lips were big enough to fit her face. There was nothing remarkable about her eyes. They were black and evenly situated on either side of her round face. Her brows were full and dark and her short lashes curled thickly into themselves. She’d likely never win any beauty contests but she didn’t scare small children on site either.
At 5’5 Sable was little on the short side and lord knows what kind of obese category the doctors would put her in. She often thought she could get away with claiming to be curvy, or voluptuous or any of those other sexy sounding adjectives, but Sable was the kind of girl to call a spade a spade. She was fat. With an F not a PH or any fun acronym to follow it. Sure, it bothered her, but not enough for her to rush out and join a gym. And since she wasn’t really in the market for a man, well, she guess that statement said it all. Sable wasn’t catching anything but a cold. Her girlfriends would say she was not catching because she didn’t take pride in herself. All the extra weight is not helping her cause. Though, mostly they told her to just get out there. Dress up a little. Smile more often. Sable was not a smiler. That’s not saying she walked around frowning all the time, but she just didn’t smile.
If she were being witty she’d say something back like “I am not fat, I am pleasantly, plump” or “this is just cushion for the pushin’, real men love curves.” She often had a come back to any suggestion about her love life or lack their of. She loved her friends and hated that the worried over her, but Sable was used to being in the back ground. And at nearly thirty years old, she wasn’t sure that the spot light was for her.
No, Sable didn’t want to be the center of attention. What she did want however was to be carefree. She wanted to enjoy life, not just exist.
Looking into the mirror, she tipped her head this way and that. Squinting, then opening her eye’s wide. She took inventory of all her features. Noted that if she sucked her tummy in just a bit and pulled her shoulder back she kinda had what could maybe someday be considered a shape.
Sighing deeply and gasping for air. She mentally chastised herself. “Yeah, since round is a shape you qualify. Stop playing, you ain’t starting no exercising and will switch doctors in a heartbeat if they tell you to stop eating fried foods.”
“I know that’s right” she spoke to herself, “but it would be nice to …” she let the sentence fall short. Sable had stopped wishing for life to be different when she was in junior high. Her mama was right. She was meant to be plane. Her sister’s were the smart, beautiful ones. She was just Sable. Simple and brown. Ten years ago the thought would have made Sable cry. She hadn’t cried since her mamma had finally died.
Standing at the foot of her mother’s death bed, she’d watched as her mama had held her sisters hand’s and spoke to them each. She’d told them how proud of them she was and how beautiful they were. She’d told them how much she’d always loved them. She’d had no words for Sable. Sable, who’d given up her education to come home and care for her ailing mother. Sable who’d worked two jobs to pay for the medicine that she’d needed, because Winston had left them for his mistress years and years before. No comfort for Sable, forged letters from her sisters when the refused to come home to even visit the deathly woman. Sable, who had been the one to feed and bathe her when she couldn’t do so on her own. NO, Jeanavier, had left this world with a sneer on her face and a look of distaste in her eyes. She’d never a day in her life shown Sable any love, and even in death, she stayed true to her form.
Shaking off the cobwebs of memory, Sable artfully tied a silk scarf in her hair and grabbed her car keys. Memories almost always did two things for Sable. Made her sad and late for work. She hurried from her tiny bedroom grabbing a demin jacket along the way. It didn’t take her long to exit and lock her tiny apartment. Moments after that, she was in her tiny used compact and heady for her job. At least at work she could listen to the happenings of her co-workers and friends lives and for a few moments not dwell on hers.
Closing Doors: A Series of New Beginnings
Sable’s Standards
