tastey tuesday, March 3

Tastey Tuesday
Well Hello All,
I am presently snowed in, all I have is cloudy overcast and a white coating over all that I survey....,
It is Tastey Tuesday..., my question for y'all is..., what would make all that white tastey?
Well there is all this (back see the above picture), and a crack of , and a little of , or even a side of
But for those looking for something that might be sweet with a cruchy coating served with whipped cream, honey, cinnamon, chocolate, butterscotch, caramel and maybe some cherries....,
How about a dish of.....
Fried Ice Cream

INGREDIENTS
1 quart vanilla ice cream
3 cups crushed cornflakes cereal (plain or honey & nut or even part vanilla wafers)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 egg whites (or corn syrup)
2 quarts oil for frying
DIRECTIONS
Scoop ice cream into 8 - 1/2 cup sized balls. Place on baking sheet and freeze until firm (over night).
In a shallow dish, combine cornflakes and cinnamon. In another dish, beat egg whites until foamy. Roll ice cream balls in egg whites (or corn syrup), then in cornflakes, covering ice cream completely. Repeat if necessary. Freeze again until firm, 3 hours.
In deep fryer or large, heavy saucepan, heat oil to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Using a basket or slotted spoon, fry ice cream balls 1 or 2 at a time, for 10 to 15 seconds, until golden. Drain quickly on paper towels and serve immediately. Top it all will Carmel, Honey, Chocolate, Butterscotch, Whipped Cream and don't forget the Cherries.
